Welcome to the world Noah Quade!

The last time we had with Noah, he was still in his Mommy's belly. I know you aren't supposed to call boys 'pretty', but he has the prettiest face and the smoothest baby soft skin. Love newborns and this guy was no exception!

Sabrina

Sabrina came to celebrate the upcoming birth of her 2nd child. It's a special way to include Big brother Ethan and make him feel like a big part of this new life coming into their family. Ethan has had some stage freight in the past at our sessions, so I was REALLY happy when he let me get some shots of him too. He loved wrestling and playing around with his mommy while I clicked away. Sabrina definitely has that beautiful pregnancy glow :)

Rain, Rain, go away!

Even though it decided to come an full fledged downpour right before we started, we still got a great session in! Brynn is 10 months old and full of smiles :) We found cover for a while, then ventured out into the sprinkles when the rain eased up. Of course, as we were wrapping up, the sun started to shine...isn't that how it goes!? But we got some beautiful shots anyway and she even let her Mommy in for a few :)

Lawson and Zadie

As you can see from these pics, Lawson was a such little poser! Zadie was ready to ham it up too...I love it when she talks...it's soooo sweet!

What defines a circus?

Not these kids! Even though their Mommy might disagree after this session...she actually wanted me to label her gallery name Circus :) It's always more stressful for the parents, and when you try for bigger family shots, that can amplify the chaos. But that's the great part about sessions here. We can take our time and let the kids go. Kids and babies like to do their own thing, and I love when I catch those shots that show exactly that...their little personalities. The one thing I love, is that the best images are not always the perfectly posed, smiling ones. The most honest ones make the most memorable. Sometimes it's a silly, scrunched up face, a wide open giggle, sweet little girls twirling around, showing off their new dress. Sometimes it's a genuine moment of sweetness from one sibling to the other. Whatever it is, it's real. And I'm here to get it all!

Lynsey & Katie

My friend Stacy brought her two little girls for some Valentine/Birthday pics...they are growing up into little ladies for sure! Very sweet and cooperative, since they love hamming it up for the camera :)

Addison...

Miss Addison came for her milestone month pics today. She has changed so much since her newborn session! Among those changes, she also has had her ears pierced! If she wasn't enjoying chewing on her fist, she was jibber-jabbering. I love hearing babies tell us like it is! So sweet...

Catching up to the New Year...

So I haven't blogged since November...I really want to go through each session individually because I have thoughts and favorites from each one. But because of my procrastination and overall slackness...I'm going to do a consolidation! There is no way I can NOT share my favorites from these sessions so as hard as it was, I tried to pick one of my favorites from each one.
